Step 1
- We meet with you and discuss your design ideas.
- Collect your sketches, photos or cutouts you may have which illustrate your design ideas.
- Discuss site characteristics of your building site.
- Discuss time required and cost of your design.
- Sign a design contract with you.
Step 2
- We will develop preliminary drawings and send to you (via email attachment) plan revisions as needed.
- Discuss (via telephone) the changes you wish to make in the preliminary design.
- We will then modify the drawings accordingly and again send a copy to you for approval.
- This step is repeated until the design is approved by you.
Step 3
- Once you have approved the plans, we will print them creating what is termed “blueprints”.
- Five complete sets of plans will then be delivered to you (normally at our office). As an alternative, you may choose to receive your plans electronically and print them locally.
- At this point, you will be ready to have your project priced by the contractor (or contractors) of your choice.
For additional fees, we are also available to assist you in bidding out your plans and even advising you in selecting the most qualified contractor for the job.
